Crime Alert - Theft of a FORD MOTORHOME from Sproatley

Dear Resident,

Humberside Police are investigating a report of a Theft of a motorhome from Church Mount, SPROATLEY.

The incident occurred between 6pm Monday 8 September and 6am Tuesday 9 September. The offender(s) approached a 12plate blue LWB FORD TRANSIT Motorhome parked on the victims driveway and make off. The motorhome has a custom black roof box with solar panels.

If you have any CCTV footage (including video doorbell), saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area around this time or have any information about the offenders please contact the police on the non-emergency number 101 quoting occurrence ref: 25*126524.

Alternatively you could call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. You don’t have to leave your name and you may even receive a reward.

To reduce the risk of your vehicle being stolen, please read through the below advice -

Keep your vehicle locked at all times

Make sure your vehicle alarm is set if it has one.

Consider using a steering wheel lock, we recommend Secured by Design accredited products.

Don't leave your keys or fobs where they can be easily found.

If your vehicle has keyless entry, use a faraday pouch to prevent a reply theft.

Park your vehicle in a garage if you can, or in a secure location.

If you have CCTV, park your vehicle where it will be covered.
